After the holiday deluge of over-eating, over-drinking, under - exercising and just generally not being the kindest to my body, this first week of January has been
about recovery and
hitting the
reset button, and I know I'm not alone.
While the tenants of intuitive eating are
about listening to your body, eating according to your cravings and learning your satiety cues to avoid restriction, does this mean that there's something wrong with
hitting the
reset button after an indulgent holiday or trying out a new way of eating?
That sounds extreme but anything that stimulates your adrenal glands like that, if you're concerned
about cortisol and you even want to
hit the
reset button on your adrenals, just eliminate that stuff completely and look at the label of anything that you're drinking that's a health tonic or anything like that to make sure that it's not in there.

Spring is a natural time to think
about hitting the dietary
reset button.
It's a very handy addition for unfortunate situations, but the replacement force -
reset process is pretty ridiculous: You have to
hit the volume - up and - down keys in quick succession, then hold the power
button down for
about 10 seconds.
What makes this season so stressful is that we need that last hope

Reset Button so much.
