I discovered that these Russian seminarians knew almost nothing
about liberation theology and when I tried to explain it to them, they took it to he an oddly establishment kind of reform movement.
Perhaps this book does the most that any text
about liberation theology can do: it invites us to consider what it would mean to have that hope — both for the poor and for all of us.
I think that all theology outside of the religious right has a PR problem in the U.S. Glenn Beck's comments
