about my favorite

food recipes!
What is it
about the winter months that automatically gets us craving comfort
foods — especially a big ole mug of
low carb hot chocolate.
Also, there is a myth
about low -
carb diets that says that you can eat fatty
foods such as bacon all the time.
And you'd think they were right since dieting includes an enormous list of things to do like counting daily calories,
lowering carb intake, avoiding white wheat, reducing fat intake, drinking lemon juice in the morning, writing in a nutrition diary
about everything you've eaten that day, eating more vegetables, drinking a lot of water, slowly chewing your
food, taking fat burner supplements, eating lots of bacon if you're on a Keto diet (come to think of it, that's not that bad), trying all sorts of natural weight - loss
foods, sometimes even eating raw
foods and the list goes on and on.
When the researchers broke the
carbs into high and
low glycemic index categories, the increased risk was even more apparent: Women who ate the most high glycemic
foods had
about 2.25 times the risk of developing heart disease than women who consumed the fewest.
