about mold in the news and maybe even from concerned homebuyers and sellers.
Much of the concern
about mold in coffee comes from a frequently cited study which found 91.7 % of green coffee bean sampled (Coffea arabica from Brazil) to be contaminated with mold (Martins, Food Addit Contam 2003).

in popsicle
molds about 2/3 each with the coconut mix, then top with the coffee mix.
Pour the mixture into popsicle
molds and place the wooden popsicle sticks
in about 3/4 way down.
Once you have them
in the
molds, which takes
about 15 minutes, you'll place them
in the freezer for 3 hours.
Fill each
mold almost to the rim and bake for
about 4 minutes (batter is set around the edges but still soft
in the center).
I had those stainless steel ring
molds custom made
about 20 years ago, but I think you can buy them
in cooking stores now.
Once more solidified, lay the
mold out on a cutting board and slice once
in half lengthwise, and then again to create the individual bars - you should have
about 12 - 14 bars.
Fill your popsicle
molds and let them freeze for
about 30 minutes and then stick your popsicle sticks
in the center.
Pour the mixture into your popsicle
molds (will fill
about 6
molds) and place a popsicle stick
in the center.

in the shape of a circle, starting from the outermost part of the circle, until you reach the inside 10) Fold the edges of dough over the filling and then sprinkle the dough with a bit of sugar 11) Bake for
about 40 - 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are soft 12) Serve warm, with a side of whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Just place the
mold in a water bath and bake for
about 60 minutes.
A few notes
about removing these paletas from the
molds: The natural oil
in avocados means these popsicles will be creamy, and thus need a little longer time to freeze until completely solid.
