With most of the recent Arsenal transfer rumours focusing on which
strikers might be in the running
for a summer
move to north London, following the confirmation this week that it would definitely not be the Leicester City and England star Jamie Vardy, the football media might soon have to find something else to talk
about.
If I was Bellerin, I would seek assurances from Arsene
about the direction and ambition of Arsenal, and if it doesn't not include mounting a serious challenge
for silverware (which should include the purchase of a world class
striker, attacking right wing midfielder, and central defender), then I would be speaking with my family and agent
about moving to another club that matches my ambitions..

for us to think
about while all this international gubbins is going on, all assuming that the speedy and prolific

moving to north London of course.

about the Monaco, Henry and Mbappe connection and you could understand why this very promising young
striker might feel that Arsenal under Le Prof would be a good
move for him.
I think only barca real or Bayern can tempt those players away from leicester, they would give at least a year to the club, but season after that they will
move onto other club depending on their form next season. As
for arsenal transfer i wouldn't want to listen to rumours as most of the times these rumours are just utter garbage.i want a certain rumour
about Wolfsburg signing giroud to be true.Anyways if our idiotic manager has some sense left in him after an embarrassing season he should get a premium
striker which the club needed
for past 4 years. He need to put his ego aside and his old philosophy of waiting
for players to develop. We need already established players in every department of our team.Penny pinching has cost us just pay the damn money get the players.I get the feeling next season is going to be harder and we have less chance of winning cause man city have had 2 seasons without premier league and guardiola is gonna bring more quality and hunger to that team.

for us the Monaco
striker was also concerned

move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer being a real detriment to his development as a player because he might not get the regular game time that has helped him develop so far.
why did we play Welbeck in the
striker's role... no one can question his heart but to have a player with such limited first - touch and finishing skills against such a game opponent with Lacazette on the bench is almost unforgivable... maybe it's because Welbeck tows the party line or maybe it's because Welbeck doesn't know anything but 100 % on the pitch, unfortunately neither of these qualities makes him a capable starting
striker on a team with any real aspirations... I can only hope that he was being showcased
for a
move elsewhere, as there was some talk last week
about some interest from Everton... if he
moved on that would be the only silver lining of this coach's decision, but once again it wouldn't excuse this club
for putting business decisions ahead of fielding the best possible team to secure 3 points at Anfield
I'm not sure
about Cavani, he is not deadly enough
for his value and he likes to drift out to the left and
move inside, we needed a
striker that can finish in the box and Wenger made a mistake by not getting Jackson Martinez, we all knew that Benzema will not leave,

move for Flamini
for # 2.8 m... I see things being done only that they are gradual... & Benitez apparently committed to help arsenal complete the Benzema
move as he has said the frenchman does not fit into his vision of the new Real madrid he's
about to build & he wants to make a
move for Reus which means he could cash - in on the french
striker....
come on... this is the dead cat tactic... we should be talking
about why there is no serious
move for two world class
strikers without which we will have another failed season and why players like the whippet, ox mert and campbell have not been told they are surplus to requirements in a club with ambition to win top trophies... oh hang on maybe wenger is the man
for the england job!!!!!
Giroud isn't worried
about Lucas perez because he probably knows that Wenger will be playing Lucas on the wing, more often than not, since he is officially an attacking midfielder And when you add that to Wenger's previous statements of Sanchez being
moved into the
strikers position
for this season, aswell as keeping Walcott in that role too, it brings sense to Giroud's comments.
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial
for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up play talents would been on display
for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares
about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class
striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled
for a position that shouldn't have been theirs
for the taking in the first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as
for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning
about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with playing in North London

move to Deportivo could be just what we need to stop the Ox going to Chelsea.
Chelsea could be
about to make an incredible
move for Paris Saint Germain

Time
for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of
for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly
about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these
moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons...
moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous
for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good
about the way their future potential employer feels
about them)... in order
for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to
striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule
about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as
for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal
for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money
for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul...
for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the
striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid
for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up
for half the price he eventually went to Juve
for, or that we've only paid any interest to
strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness
for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
According to a surprise claim by Don Balon, Conte's desperate search
for a new
striker saw him ask Giroud
about the possibility of
moving to Stamford Bridge.
The thing that really bothers me is the thing we've disagreed on in the past and that's imo Wengers apparent lack of Urgency and decisiveness when
moving into the transfer window I know that Scheweinsteiger would be a great addition but He is somewhat over the hill in comparison to the others that are being toted
about and while I know that we are not the cash Rich Man Poo or Man Sh!tty or Chelski I do know that we are at a point
for the first time in ten years where we don't need to replace many players or are being frced to sell the quality ones we have, we are
for the first time in a spot where we only need to add two or three players and we are there in terms of being able to compete, Id hate
for the financial Exuberance to stop us taking that final stride forward into the competitive team we nearly are IMO spend the money now, get the
striker, get the DM and we wont need to look at transfers in a big way again
for several seasons and with that in mind Id rather have the likes of Benzema or Lacazetta or even Cavanni than a nearly over the hill Scheweinsteiger.

Judging by the Arsenal transfer rumours
about Gonzalo Higuain that were flying around befor the Argentina international completed his mega money
move to the champions of Italy Juventus, I doubt very much whether Arsene Wenger would have paid # 50 million or much more
for his top
striker transfer target, so imagine my surprise when I saw the Daily Star reporting that the Frenchman was ready to offer that amount
for Mauro Icardi.
In the build up to Arsenal facing the reigning Premier League champions Leicester City at the Emirates, Arsene Wenger was asked by the football press

Maksim you are 100 % percent right
about Dan Petrescu's faith in youngsters. In just a few months he gave chances to Ivan Solovyov, Pavel Solomatin and Vladimir Sobolev to play in the first team.As
for Mogilevets i think he will become and excellent player but not at Zenit. He needs to
move elsewhere (and not on loan) to play first team football like Ionov did a few years ago.In my opoinion Zenit needs a
striker (if they sell Hulk to AS Monaco) to score goals.Kerzhakov is not at his best, Bukharov has forgotten when was the last time he score and Dordevic is not gonna get a chance.I understand that midfielders of Zenit are all capable of scoring goals like Shirokov, Danny, Witsel, Bystrov and Fayzulin but thats
striker's job and Zenit may lose a player on the filed. And something else, i was so impressed with Yuri Lodigin's performance against Krasnodar and maybe Zenit found a great replacement
for Malafeev.

So you get rid of two of your crap players and get one of our best so whats in it
for us or are you also giving us that 50 ml on top of them because that would be the only way it could happen.Berbs went because he was a shit and carrick well he was much the same.Difference is now we are closing on you and if we can get a
striker in january then we will be even closer so why would our guys want to go there. Also with cry baby rooney getting a massive pay rise how long before berbs, giggs, scholes and the rest are knocking at the door. That was a very bad
move by mannure your wage structure is
about to explode out the door and how are you going to pay
for that.If Bale was to go there i bet he would be looking at least 150k a week which with rooneys wage rise seems fair.Add to that his price tag
for buying him and well it looks like it could cost you at lot more than 50 ml.I know if i was his agent i would be saying to mannure if you want himyou have to pay him a wage up there with rooneys. You have shot yourselves in the foot big style with rooney to the point can you now afford to buy any more players?
