One of my
favorite parts of the
book is the section
about the Sermon

Our
favorite part of this
book was it's detailed guide of popular guilty pleasure treats with straight forward facts
about why they are unhealthy, shown with a similar, much healthier alternative
on the proceeding page.

favorite thing
about this
book is that it also comes with a CD / DVD with the video from their website, the same song

Books for Toddlers
Stroller, diapers (3 times as many as you think you need — they don't sell them in airports), wipes (travel pack or 2), disposable changing pads (Target sells»em — very handy for the «ewwwww factor of changing baby in a public restroom), few
favorite toys &
books (does mean that you have to be vigilant
about not dropping / losing them), changes of clothes (I took 2 for baby, 1 clean shirt for myself),
favorite blanket, a burp cloth, baby Benadryl *, and pacifier (even though baby didn't regularly use one, we had one
on hand!).
He wasn't all that thrilled
about his new undies, he got bored
on the potty (even while reading his
favorite Thomas
book) and got utterly perturbed if he wet himself.

One of my
favorite things
about this column is the opportunity it gives me to put in a word
on behalf of an overlooked or underrated classic: a
book or film that may have gotten respectful attention when it came out, but deserves more now.
At a recent roundtable interview, Anderson and production designer Adam Stockhausen talked

about the
book is the nifty one word quotes from nearly 100 celebrities Rettenmund asked to describe Madonna in one word that are superimposed
on the edges of pages here and there like colorful graffiti.
The screenplay by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (based
on the
book by John Green), which does such solid work in presenting one character, falters quite a bit when it concentrates
on the bond between Hazel and Augustus, which centers
on an adventure in Amsterdam to speak with the reclusive author (Willem Dafoe) of Hazel's
favorite book about what happens to the story's characters after its abrupt ending.

favorite resource is Checking for Understanding by Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey This
book is a quick and easy read, very accessible and full of dozens of ways to thoughtfully and systematically monitor student learning.
