For some reason, I left the
glasses painting on my easel after completing it but something was irritating me
about it.
At one point as I tried to get more information
about a floor sculpture that resampled broken
glass, and a set of blue
paintings with some subtle white abstract elements on them, the gallery director couldn't even tell me
about the work.

I do know that you can
paint about any kind of surface with ASCP, and wondered if you had tried this on metal or
glass or plastic yet.
I have a question
about using the Krylon Sea
Glass spray
paint.

about the
glass being
painted, yes well yes and no, those are stock Ikea doors I bought to fit this island I built from MDF, I frosted the
glass a few times, and just recently recoated them with
paint, so they are 2 - 3 frosting, and two coats
paint, I love the look, I had thought fabric at first but it looked awful.

glass:) I streaked in various shades while
painting the mason jars and they look fantastic!
I desperatly need a chalkboard area for «mom notes and reminders» in the kitchen and have thought
about painting over the frosted
glass in chalkboard
paint.
Oh, and my brain retains snapshots from infants school — learning to sing «Frere Jacques», poking around in drains for coins to buy 6 - cent packets of Chickadees from the canteen, being mortified
about not pronouncing «choir» correctly during a reading test with the principal (couldn't understand why it wasn't choy - er), sitting on
painted circles drinking warm milk out of
glass bottles for morning tea, hiding my bananas behind the sink in the classroom because someone called me a monkey, sliding down a pole and injuring myself in an intimate area with a sharp bolt, blood on my undies, terror
about the damage I might have caused down there, never telling a soul until now...

paint off the

Also, I appreciate your advice
about not bothering to tape the
glass, and waiting for the
paint to dry before removing!
Because I wanted all of the old
paint covered and because I'm pretty fussy
about making sure there is no
paint left on the
glass, AND because it took three coats of
paint to get it «right» — then I had to use a razor blade to scrape off the
paint that got on the
glass — it all took a lot of time.
I will do another post later (if y ’ all are interested)
about how i did the silhouettes (basically copied ones i had on my printer and
painted $ 1 frames, took out the

glass pieces hanging from it... was thinking
about painting it... what perfect timing!

painted circles drinking warm milk out of
glass bottles for morning tea, hiding my bananas behind the sink in the classroom for weeks because someone called me a monkey...
Think
about applying tile tattoos to blank walls or even
glass splashbacks if the mood takes you — vinyl wall stickers are an easy way to update (or make a statement on) plain
painted walls.
