I had heard somewhere
about raisins AND grapes causing acute Renal failure but hadn't seen any formal paper on the subject.
Then it hit me that i just read somewhere
about raisins being toxic for dogs and i panicked!
I love subtly sweet breads, and you know how I feel
about raisins!
The raisins aren't essential, so if you're one of those people with strong feelings
about raisins in baked goods, you can leave «em out.

I love your recipes, but I was slightly skeptical
about the taste of these since I don't really love
raisins.

I've been making banana oat cookies for a while now, in fact, I've tried just

After folowing this recipe to the tee for
about 10 times, I decided to get crazy and add some golden
raisins to the mix.
They're
about 20 % water, double that of
raisins.

My husband was doubtful
about adding the
raisins, but I went ahead and added them, and he was glad I did.

about a trick for adding
raisins so that they don't fall out, and that might work for the apple chunks, too: After dividing the dough, roll each one into a long, flat oblong.
I ran out of honey so only ended up with

I used
about 2/3 of the
raisins and nuts and 2/3 of almond flour with 1/3 of a gluten free whole flour mix I made, with a few shakes of coconut sugar mixed in with the agave and my family is enjoying this cake immensely.
Soak the
raisins in just enough water to cover them, just for
about 5 minutes.
