Previously we had a gray one which was probably a little more practically but I've always dreamed of having a white slipcovered sofa (I even spilled my guts about my sofa woes here and here) so I finally went for it and seriously, I couldn't be happier.

I only started blog reading a little over a year ago, but have been dreaming of a white slipcovered sofa in my living room for about 2 years.

I am the proud owner of 2 new white slipcovered down filled sofas I have been dreaming about for at least 10 years.

The slipcovered sofas / loveseats I'm talking about, you buy WITH the slipcover and each cushion has it's own cover, as well as a separate cover for the frame of the sofa, so it never gets untucked!

The tucking untucking that I was talking about in the beginning is only an issue when you buy those general slipcovers not custom fit and can be used for any sofa.

I ordered the matching corner slipcover (with a coupon code) for under $ 200, so all total I've spent about $ 1100 for a $ 3000 sofa — not bad, huh?

Since purchasing our white slipcover sofa, I'm all about throws.

I loved the look of our slipcovered sofas, but as far as the functionality for our family, I wasn't crazy about them.
