I realize a lot of information can't be released to the public until the October 9th unveiling and commenting on
stylus support may be one of the things Rohan can't talk
about right now.
That was followed by confirmation of specs and a release date — in 3 — 4 weeks which confirms an August release we've been hearing
about, and some of the rumored specs are confirmed — a 10.1 ″ 1280 x 800 display, capacitive touch screen with

stylus support on a future iPhone model, and there's a good chance that the 2017 version is the one.

about # 100 less, includes a
stylus in the box and 4G
support.
And you can forget
about fancy features like
stylus support, an accelerometer, or possibly even Google Play
support.
(You know, those who make a big deal
about Android OEMs adopting the notch and dropping the headphone jack but seem to ignore Apple's adopting bigger than 4» phones, wireless charging, waterproofing, NFC, mobile payments, OLED, multi-window,
stylus support, biometrics etc. all of which make the iPhone 8 and X much closer to the Samsung Galaxy S and Note devices than the iPhone 5.
