There's so much I love
about summer, but since this is a
food blog, I guess I'll stick to talking
about food.
As we transition out of the heat of
summer and prepare for the fall season, I would like to share with Total
Food Service readers insights
about safety, sustainability and savings in a key area of maintenance that is usually handled in a reactive fashion: plumbing.
During the
summer I'm all
about foods that require not silverware when bringing to picnics and potlucks.
didn't know anything
about blogging before i started a
food / family one this
summer (sort of been in a time freeze since 2001 having 4 kids), and i'm glad i didn't.
Yesterday was
about as homespun as they go;) Ate breakfast at home, went to church, came home for leftovers, went to an open house, took Maggie to the park, made some fun
food items, cleaned the house, worked on laundry, switched
summer — > fall / winter clothes, and made dinner!
There's something
about good
food, warm evenings and great company that just seems to be the pinnacle of a perfect
summer's night.
If there is one thing I love
about summer, it's the
food!
Over the
summer I posted a confession on Facebook
about all of the healthy
foods nutritionists and wellness experts claim to love, but I can't stand.
Summer brings lots of grilling out - of - doors, family picnics, and concerts in the park, all of which are all
about the
food.
Fall / Winter is my favorite
food seasons (but I think I say that
about Spring and
Summer too).
For those of you asking
about gluten - free
food options while you are off traveling this
summer, this is a perfect Paleo solution.
One of the things I knew I needed to be proactive
about this
summer was with our

I've been pulling out the blender (and the

summer fest is back and I am excited to participate along with few other fellow bloggers.
Summer Fest is a season long, bi-weekly event where
