One thing that really irked
me about the BlackBerry Bold that seems to have been addressed on the 8900 is the silver «trim» on the device.

For general business use and a great battery life, I would recommend a
BlackBerry Curve (
about $ 150) or
Bold (
about $ 200).

RIM is nice and vague
about release dates saying that: «The

BlackBerry Curve 9380 smartphones will begin to be available from various carriers around the world over the coming weeks.»
The single biggest complaint
about the flagship
BlackBerry Bold 9900 is its battery life.
If you spend a lot of time in WiFi coverage all day, I'd probably go for the
Bold 9900 for the keyboard, bigger screen and hotter look, but if you're out and
about a lot and want a nice portable phone that gets through the day with power to spare and still has that
Bold badge on it, the 9790 could be the
BlackBerry 7 Smartphone for you.
Conclusion: I think if I had to I could live with the battery life on the Pearl 3G, but I'd rather not have to worry
about it at all so have a feeling I'm going to be a
BlackBerry Bold 9700 user again soon.

Blackberry QWERTY design, there's no question
about that.
One of the first things you notice after spending some time with the
BlackBerry Torch 9800 is that the hardware feels quite solid; it's durable, yet not too heavy at 5.68 ounces —
about an ounce more than both RIM's
BlackBerry Bolds 9000 and 9650; the slider mechanism is smooth and there's very little horizontal - «give» while open vertically, which typically bodes well for its durability over time; the battery cover sits snuggly in place, even if you attempt to wiggle it around; and there's little - or - no squeaking or «creaking» if you squeeze and / or press various sections of the device, which hasn't necessarily been the case with other recent
BlackBerry devices — expect for the top panel and trackpad, but I'll get to that in the next section.

Thought it may be the «entry level» offering of the
