I've read conflicting things
about the carb counts in vegetable glycerin so I have been worried about using it though.

The only alteration I made was using the tip suggested earlier in the comments
about making your own breadcrumbs out of «light» bread — this cut down on the
carbs a bit more for those who are
counting.

about vegetables is that they are all carbohydrate containing foods, but some are much higher in
carb count that others.

count that high, but what made me think of that is that you're talking
about what beer does, and on the Bulletproof diet I mean in the roadmap there is bulletproof foods that decrease information, high fat, low
carb low toxins kinds of foods.
On the other hand, some health professionals, like Dr Westman, recommend
counting total
carbs rather than net
carbs and going on a very low -

I am thinking here of what you've said
about the reason for the
carbs in non-starch veg not
counting towards the daily
carb requirement because their glucose content is required for their digestion and therefore isn't available to the rest of the body.

I probably weigh in at
about 100g a day considering I eat mainly protein / fat / veggies with 2 - 4 pieces of fruit maximum, so not
counting fiber my daily
carbs probably come in at
about 150g on higher days and 75g on the lower days.....
I was paleo for
about a year at I think 100 - 120g
carbs daily (never
counted then!)
I have been in liw
carb diet for at least 2 weeks and notice im not liosing weight im very strict
about carb consumption in fact im excessively compulsive for example: I use only heavy cream in my coffee but if the container indicates < 1g and no sugar content at all I still
count it as a whole
carb.
Gary Taubes doesn't seem to care
about people
counting calories, but I have heard him say (& have read his writings on this) that for people extremely
carb sensitive, even green, leafy vegetables can be problematical!

Don't be fooled - fiber should still
count and while its caloric content per gram is slightly less (
about 3 cals per gram), it's still
counted as a
carb when tracking macros.

carbs in non-sugary vegetables due to the «overhead» of energy required for consumption.

I recently started
carb cycling to try to get my weight loss moving, I
count calories and I have started at 2100 and I am at
about 1600 now.
A 150 gram serve of broccoli will have
about 11 grams of total carbohydrate but nearly half of that is fibre, so I'm wondering if it
counts as 6 grams of
carbs, or as 11... I'm just wondering which part of the label I should be reading to try and work out what I'm actually eating.
