At some point, they become saturated and can't
absorb any more liquid, and it's time to change them out for a fresh batch.
The issue here is more than likely with the coconut flour, as it's a very thirsty flour of which some brands can
absorb more liquid than others.
NOTE: Plant - based protein tends to
absorb more liquid so, if you need to add additional almond milk to achieve desired texture, do it.

Since it seemed to

more than ordinary flour I only used one cup and two teaspoons of gluten free baking powder.
