We established ourselves with
shelters and veterinarians in Florida and Georgia, found a few wonderful families willing to care for (foster) the pups until they were ready for adoption, and became known as one of the few small
dog rescue organizations willing to take the seniors, the special needs, the
abused to the point of aggression, and the babies needing extreme medical care.
The plea for cash is especially urgent because the
shelter spent much of its money last year to care for 31 Pomeranian
dogs that Humane Society officials said had been
abused and were living in filthy conditions until their rescue.

dogs and the pets of other survivors; fortunately, one
shelter has a way to help.

All of the
