Karen is a graduate of Sonoma State University and holds a Consultant / Instructor Training Academy certificate issued by the Marin Humane Society and a Pet Care Technician certificate issued by the American Boarding Kennel Association.
Wilson received his B.F.A. from the State University of New York, Purchase in 1976 and serves on the Board of Trustees at the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Sculpture Center, and the American Academy in Rome.
