They took the vehicles on a series of exercises on the 2.5 - mile racetrack, pushing performance cars and taking other vehicles on slalom,

So what I did was I recruited 28
test subjects
and had them complete three laps on the game Gran Turismo 3 for PlayStation 2;
and they had a steering wheel, an
acceleration [
and]
brake pad to simulate a real driving experience,
and I counted the number of crashes they made during each lap, which was the number of times they hit the wall
and also the number of times that they deviated from the course.

and double - lane - change handling
tests.
Just keep in mind that the process for achieving the 3PMSF stamp is quite simple
and does not take into account
braking, cornering, or ice performance — it's simply an

and braking performance, we topped off the battery
and drove a few miles to a nearby
test course.
Spending an extra $ 6200 (above the price of a 370Z with the optional sport package) for the NISMO edition seems reasonable until you know what we learned at the

In our
testing, the g - force meter seemed to show only
acceleration and braking force — lateral movement didn't seem to be represented.
In fact, in Hyundai engineering
tests, skid pad lateral -
acceleration performance increased from 0.82 g with the standard Veloster Turbo tire to 0.94 g with the Pilot Super Sport, while
braking (60 - 0 mph) decreased from 135 ft. to 121 ft.,
and wet
braking decreased from 157 ft. to 136 ft.
The auto
braking, the hill start assist, the blind spot information, trace control, auto parking, The

and miss, whereby if you put the throttle to the floor, the car goes slower with less pull, yet if you pull it back from the floor about an inch, it goes faster (like a sweet spot) which is
testing when you need full power to overtake.
The
tests observed measurable things like
acceleration,
braking, dynamometer output, fuel economy,
and towing / hauling numbers.
The new
tests will account for the draw made by accessories like the vehicle's air conditioning, stresses like those imposed by cold weather driving,
and inefficiencies caused by occasional rapid
acceleration or
braking.
The flat concrete course let us
test acceleration, cornering, slaloming around cones,
and hard
braking.

We ran each pickup through a battery of instrumented
testing, which started with checking their weight (full fuel, no driver) before

and driving at higher speeds with more rapid
acceleration and braking.
In this two - hour driving experience, participants sit alongside world - class professional racecar drivers who encourage them to
test Jaguar's high performance vehicles to their limits
and teach them about safe performance driving, such as accident avoidance, handling,
braking,
and acceleration, in several closed simulated driving courses.
