Recently, rumors have been popping up that Warner Bros. is going to adopt the online pass strategy for used games that EA and THQ have created, charging $ 10 to
access online portions of games that are sold used.

It's also worth noting that Battlefield 3 uses an
online pass system, meaning you'll only have
access to the multiplayer
portion of the
game if you bought a brand new copy
of the
game, each
of which comes with an
access code.
For example, you could
access a special NGP
game mode, or some demos, or a perhaps a
portion of the
game's
online feature suite, or hell — maybe the whole damn
game, just so you can have it on - the - go as well.
There is a main story quest line for those who want to learn more about the history
of Resonail (as well as a good way to start leveling up your team), but that is mainly for those who may not have
access to the
online multiplayer
portion which is really the meat
of the
game.
