According
to the BBC's political editor Laura Kuenssberg, May will say Britain is willing
to pay 20 billion euros ($ 24 billion)
to the EU
during the transition period but only if the U.K. has
access to the
singles market and some form of customs union.
The vast majority of respondents (78 %) were of the view that Theresa May is the best leader for the country
