teachers in training.11 According to the Aspen Institute and Leading Educators — a nonprofit organization that partners with schools and districts to promote

teacher leaders can model best practices, observe and coach other
teachers, lead
teacher teams, and participate in the selection and induction of new
teachers.12
I would far prefer that
teachers receive adequate compensation for their work, their level of education and their experience, while administrators
take the steps necessary to weed out those who aren't up to the job (which CAN be
accomplished, despite claims to the contrary).
When
