As one would expect the slaying of said monsters and beasties grants XP that in turn can be spent to
acquire new abilities and attacks, while
weapons themselves can also be levelled up through the Mastery
system, one of the game's few original ideas.
I like getting unique
weapons from dungeons, so hopefully the
system of
acquiring new weapons isn't just stealing clubs and arrows from goblins.
This week, the Anthem subreddit mused on the idea of
weapon progression and
weapon systems, and whether or not players would prefer an MMO style where they
acquire replace «old»
weapons with «
new» ones or an RPG style where they upgrade existing
weapons to fit different situations.
