players regularly use the media to manipulate public opinion (LeBron James did likewise to rally public support for himself and away from his teammate, Kyrie Irving, who has asked to be traded)... whether for contract leverage or to rally support for or against certain

of a strong showing in pre-season to secure their futures with Arsenal?
This whole situation

Not surprisingly some
players wilted under the combination
of all these pressures and its effects were noticeably severe on the form and confidence
of those at the sharp end
of action — our 3 main strikers — Giroud, Walcott and Alexis — who suffered a sort
of collective ED in front
of goal and when a
team can't score goals — the pressure
of all this got to them, and spread throughout the
team, and affected our results particularly at home.

Arsene Wenger has often used the domestic cup competitions to give some up and coming young
players their first taste
of Arsenal first
team action, but the Frenchman has generally done this in the early rounds so an FA cup quarter final against a Premier League
team like Watford would not normally see a young Gunner make their debut.
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead
of accepting the fact that he would never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to play up top where his lack
of physicality, size and holding up play talents would been on display for all to see... these are not the
actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the
actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as
players battled for a position that shouldn't have been theirs for the taking in the first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented
player, who can help a
team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the
teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind
of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with playing in North London for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead
of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Arsenal fans will be keeping a very close eye on the injury situation at the club in the run up to the festive period, because that and the form

I certainly think that Arsene Wenger should think about taking the offer, especially if he is definitely keeping Giroud and planning not to allow Alexis Sanchez to leave and I think it could be a good move for the speedy but inconsistent
player as well because he may not be in for a lot
of first
team action in the coming months.
Picture this, we don't come out
of the gate firing on all cylinders, Wenger speaks
of how there wasn't enough time for the first - teamers to build chemistry, several key
players aren't even playing because
of Wenger's utterly ridiculous policy regarding
players who played in the Confed Cup or the under21s and the boo - birds have returned in full flight... if these things were to happen, which is quite possible considering the Groundhog Day mentality
of this club, how long do you think it will take for Wenger to recant his earlier statements regarding Europa... I would suggest that it's these sorts
of comments from Wenger which are often his undoing... why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started... why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be come Friday, let alone on September 1st... why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point considering how many times his own words have come back to bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea
of having to answer to the likes
of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge, when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand
of football and success felt like a forgone conclusion, but this new Wenger led
team barely resembles that
team of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad
of excuses, a plethora
of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind
of funny that when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle
of last season, we can't get an intelligent word out
of him, but when we just what him to show his managerial acumen through his
actions, we can't seem to get him to shut - up... I beg you to prove me wrong Arsene
I'm not defending his sulking but trust me if Gerrard, Suarez, Messi and Ronaldo were here they'll all be left frustrated. They will have to encourage the Arsenal
players more than hundred times in one match. The big question remains if our
players ever listen?I've seen many matches where Sanchez has urged and encourage our
players to show more fight. He's done this a lot through his
actions and words too.I'm remember when he came here and was tracking back, showing fight to win the ball and all that it made many
of our
players copy the same thing. We even confessed that Sanchez is having a positive impact in our
team due to his efforts. Now becausehe wants to leavexpeople are speaking only about his negative side.I remember many people here saying they wouldn't bother and be angry if Sanchez wants to leave because our
players show no fight.Didn't we say this here?Peopleare not giving him the credit he deserves.
Musa has completed five seasons
of European
action, three in Russia and two in Holland, and already has 37 national
team caps to his name so is a
player who is mature beyond his years and perhaps a sensible transfer target for Rodgers to consider.
We'll break down all
of the
action from the final night below, but first just want to thank all the
Players and
Teams for participating with us this Season!
Reports emerged last week claiming that the Arsenal star Mathieu Debuchy was looking at leaving the club in January in order to get more first -
team action and boost his chances
of making the French squad for Euro 2016, and Arsene Wenger has now confirmed the
player's displeasure and admitted that an exit may be on the cards.
We'll breakdown all
of the
action below — but before doing so — we want to Thank all
of the

Even is Gabriel should decide to leave our side, having lost his chance
of earning regular first -
team action to Mustafi, I would still much rather rely on Holding, and we shouldn't forget that Calum Chambers is also our
player, and is doing well in his first -
team role for Middlesbrough at present.
At just 21 years
of age, the loan move is a sensible one for Bramall to gain more first -

It is not quite so clear cut though, so Arsene Wenger needs to make sure that we make the most
of this situation and looking at the
players out
of action for each
team it seems clear to me how to do this.
Stoke are still a very physical
team but not quite to the extent that they used to be and on Saturday they are likely to be without two
of their chief enforcers; with our old friend Ryan Shawcross out
of action due to a long term injury problem in his back (altogether now aaahhh) and their Scottish midfielder Charlie Adam having been one
of two Stoke
players red carded in their last league game against West Brom.
So the Arsenal boss gave another
of his many positive injury predictions before the current international break, and I seem to recall the Frenchman saying that at least two
of the first
team players currently on the Arsenal injury list would be back in
action after the break and I am pretty sure the word definitely was used.
With the likes
of Theo Walcott to return to
action, Sanchez might not be needed to work as hard as he has done this season already; however, make no mistake that the lesser he works for the
team, the more effective he will be as a
player in his designated position.

of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given was ruled out
