As I see it, the vertical would provide that «grounded» sit - down comfort... stay - a-while feeling
in living room, while the horizontal will pull /
draw you into the kitchen and give you that «cozy nook» feel as well as a «back and forth» energy which makes it an
active, efficient, get - it - done kind of
space.
