The new pipeline would triple the amount of diluted bitumen
transported through a seismically
active area of the Southwest coast of British Columbia, double the oil storage tank capacity on Burnaby Mountain above heavily populated areas and dramatically increase the number of Aframax tankers required to ship the oil from Kinder Morgan's marine terminal through Burrard Inlet and coastal
waters.
