Recent activities include a residency at LES Studio Program, a program of Artists Alliance Inc., New York, NY; a solo project at Wave Hill, New York, NY; finalist for the Joan Mitchell Foundation Emerging Artist Award; digital publishing with the Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; and lecture performances at Asia Society, New York, NY; and «My Art Guide: Venice Meeting Point,» 56th Venice Biennale as part of Asian Contemporary Art Week.

Between the Chinati Foundation, a contemporary art museum founded by Donald Judd and spread over about 350 acres complete with permanent installations by Judd as well as Dan Flavin, Roni Horn, Ilya Kabakov, and Claes Oldenburg, the Judd Foundation, an institution dedicated to preserving the artist's legacy, as well as Exhibitions 2d, and, of course, Ballroom Marfa, there's a flurry of activity that keeps this sleepy town of 2,000 residents entertained.

As part of ICI's collaboration with the Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros to create research opportunities in Central America and the Caribbean, ICI is pleased to announce the launch of a resource platform that offers information on institutions, archives, museums, collections, and other relevant activities constituting Central America and the Caribbean's contemporary art scene, including independent initiatives, biennials, and private foundations.

The conference included the following highlights: an opening keynote address by Fairfax Dorn and a closing keynote address by Alice Aycock, 13 panel discussions held at the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Hotel, Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and Xavier Univeristy, an opening reception at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, mentor sessions, ARTSlams, a Glass Casting Workshop at Tulane University, a digital workshop at Xavier University, and numerous optional tours and activities.
