Proper page breaks do kick in once I get into
the actual chapters of the story, but still, this was NOT a good first impression.

Or, to take a much better illustration for our purposes, one may accept as true the
story of man's creation and fall, as found in Gen. 1 - 3, without supposing for a moment that those
chapters give us an accurate account
of an
actual happening.
The
story is much the same as in past games: you're stuck in a zombie - infested city, under threat by weapons
of mass destruction that will hit in a set number
of days (though, that's really handled by
chapter progression now and not an
actual countdown).
After this part is done with, we move over to the
actual story of John Wick:
Chapter 2.
Dawn is only in a small fraction
of Solondz's typically
chapter - ified
story, which follows an
actual dachshund through the lives
of the kinds
of marginal people Solondz often favors.
The art used for the Ancient Tales
chapters are all hand drawn and may look overly simplistic when compared to what we expect out
of games now, but they really do lend to the feel
of a traditional Chinese
story when combined with
actual traditional Chinese
stories.
A combination
of 2D and 3D almost - PowerPoint slides and
actual footage from WWII tells the
story at the start
of each
chapter, and the effect is both concise and convincing.
