actual gameplay work put into it before the guys flew to Boston to show the game at PAX East in March 2013.

Since I do have a limited knowledge on the Fire Emblem series that is the best way I can see the story
working and having sense, but what about the
actual gameplay?
This may or may not be accurate since there have only been snippets of information regarding the
actual Car and its mechanics, but taking into consideration the screenshots and how
gameplay will
work, it's easy to assume this to be the case.
Over the years I've often ranted about supposed co-op games that are only fun because you're playing with friends, and not because the
actual gameplay is properly built around having several people
working together, but Payday 2 is a true co-op game in the sense that everything is built around people
working and playing together to succeed.
Considering just how hard it is to nail the feeling of Three - Dimensional Maneuver Gear, Omega Force has their
work set out for them - and it'd be a lot more reassuring if there was
actual gameplay on display.
How do we build empathy for them and make their presence felt within the
actual gameplay, while also minimizing the amount of extra
work for everyone else in the process?
While
working with Razer Hydra and DK2 was certainly better than having no VR hardware at all, the limited tracking area of DK2, and the very imprecise tracking of Razer Hydra made developing and playtesting the
actual gameplay quite a challenge.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any information on how playing as an
actual Titan would
work, so hopefully that aspect of
gameplay will be enhanced as well.
Solo play with the AI companion does limit the
gameplay a bit but it
worked better than expected and provided a
gameplay option that didn't force you to only play co-op with
actual humans.
Doing the
work to clean up the graphics and interface so it displays nicely while blown up to my TV probably took some
work, sure, but the
actual gameplay translates over extremely well.
It's all refreshing to hear that such a massive undertaking is being
worked on for a game that's near and dear to so many hearts, but I'm ready to get my hands on some
actual gameplay.
