Still, I feel like colleges should be steering students toward learning the ins and outs
of smart
money management through relationships with
actual bank accounts instead
of prepaid
pieces of plastic.
Money as we know it is already somewhat virtual, since the
pieces of paper and bits
of metal that we use to pay for things don't have any
actual value themselves — their only value is that they can be exchanged at stores for things that actually have value, like food.
In other words, people are putting down enough
money to buy
actual games just to potentially own a bite - sized
piece of one (and, hopefully, not a used - up code).
