STILL, I think this character is hilarious in his evil - guy - standing - by - the - train - tracks persona, which makes it all the more disheartening that game director Masahiro Sakurai posted a picture of Waluigi as an assist trophy in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game and then confirmed that he will not be in
the actual roster of the game.

games, participants pay to compete for cash prizes against others in online leagues based on imaginary teams assembled from
rosters of real players, which accumulate points based on how those players perform in
actual games.
The Staff should have a pretty good idea
of how to incorporate the Mii as an
actual game play character along with the rest
of the
roster since they used models and code for Miis in that particular format previously.
The dialogue is all text based which I found pretty jarring considering we've got voice acting in pretty much all other
games... the only somewhat reasonable excuse I could think
of was that with the expanded
roster in this edition (the largest
roster so far) perhaps they didn't want to have the odd experience
of some characters voiced while others weren't (or at least not by the
actual star... and given some are no longer with us it would be a bit hard).
Within the
game, its players will assume the role
of a General Manager with a focus on
roster assembly and player retention through recruiting
actual MLB players, assembling their respective lineups, and seeing how the team fares.
