the actual story about this woman... I'm glad she's safe.

And I would bet that the hospital horror
stories are more to do with the
womens «feelings»
about her birth experience rather than the
actual damaged / dead babies from the home birth horror
stories.
And that is especially the case given the demand that female characters — and
actual human
women — be constantly likable has a way of limiting the
stories we can tell
about fictional
women, and imposing restrictions on the opportunities and chances granted
women in the real world.
If you look at the
actual story, which has one of my strongest narratives... the trade - off of one abduction for another... it becomes less
about plot than
about these two
women travelling around together against a swirl of corruption.
