I'm wondering how to use
the actual turmeric roots....

Turmeric root powder is typically easier to find than the
actual root, though the
root can yield a more vibrant flavor if you're up for the extra effort.
If you want 300 mg of curcumin, and it's up to 7 % of the
actual turmeric powder, you'd need: 300/7 = 4.3 g of
turmeric root, at least.
I'm thinking maybe because I used
turmeric powder and not the
actual root.
If I'm looking to increase supplementation of
turmeric / ginger using the
actual root not a capsule, what is the best way to do this?
