John is not saying that if we do not walk as Jesus did then this means we do not
actually have eternal life.
They teach that if you have patterns of habitual sin in your life, you have good reason to question whether or not
you actually have eternal life.

We were created by the Lord of creation to be creative beings, and if our destiny is
eternal life, our creative accomplishments
