So, for the first three or four years I was blogging, I would reply to my reader's and commenter's comments on the backend of my blog and I realized that unless the commenter / reader came back to my blog to check to see if I replied, they would never ACTUALLY see the reply.

This is not a reply to danny818, but this site is such a PS4 circle jerk, which is actually appropriate since ps4 is the new porn hub, that my comment calling out trollers is at the top, for being off topic when 90 % of the comments are ps4 fanboys exaggerating that there are mounds and mounds xbox's in store.
I'm also not sure if you actually read or skimmed the comments that you are replying to.
On a separate note, it's better if you actually reply to user comments because then it shows up in RED, letting us easily know when you post / reply.

And there is a cost — this thread of petty point - scoring and ridicule approaches 400 comments, while the much more productive thread on your review reply, where the «denizens» could actually contribute something to a real scientific discussion, languishes in near silence.
I'm not entirely sure from the timestamp whether that was intended to be a reply to my comment shown as 6.13 but actually made at 11.13 pm UK time.

When I underwent the ordeal of preparing and submitting a commment to GRL while they were still in the unannounced phase of their new policy, I actually offered to serve as the comment - and - reply editor for GRL if only they wouldn't forbid them.
I actually don't expect comments or replies to this posting (but they would be welcome).

Hi PED I feel I have to reply to your comments because I am a Salesperson who works for Right At Home Realty and I can tell you having been with Re / Max and Royal Lepage before Right At Home, when I receive a cheque I am still amazed that I actually get the money I expected... no National Advertising Fee deduction or coffee fund deduction when I work from home and never go to the office for coffee... With Right At Home, I have more money in My Bank account at the end of each month and therefore I am a much more viable Salesperson and for the new people in the business they even have free in house training.
