Thats the only thing, except not
add bleu cheese, that i did differently and they aren't looking the same at all!
With 30 minutes of cooking time left, shred the chicken using two forks and
add the bleu cheese crumbles.
For an extra charge, diners can
add bleu cheese dressing, or recently added items like bacon or sautéed mushrooms.
Instead of using a packet of dry ranch,
I added some bleu cheese laughing cow wedges after I shredded the chicken.

Bleu Cheese one... I bet it
adds quite a zing in a sandwich!
use a baguette, make a misformed shape burger to fit,
add Dijon mustard and Roquefort /

I like more
cheese flavor and less fat so I go with yogurt instead of sour cream (and definitely no mayo) as well as the lemon or vinegar, and I usually grate in a (very) small clove of garlic too — somehow the tang plus the garlic gives the
bleu something to think about and play off of without the
added salt.
I don't like
Bleu Cheese so I subbed Laughing Cow Light Swiss and
added a little dry ranch.
We have hot chicken sandwiches (Frank's hot sauce on the chicken, LOTS of
bleu cheese on toasted whatever - bread - I - have - on - hand, lettuce and tomato), chicken alfredo (I just
add a bit of pressed garlic and pepper to the pan when the chicken is almost done, throw in some cream, let it simmer and reduce, then
add a bunch of finely grated parm, asiago, pecorino romano, or whatever I have), and then an absolute favorite: lemon pepper chicken on Greek Salad.
I make a version of this but I use the laughing cow
bleu cheese wedges instead of ranch mix (also because there is SO much MSG in that mix...) and sometimes also
add reduced fat
bleu cheese crumbles after it's done I also leave out the butter myself.
If I were to ever make again, would experiment with
adding the
cheese either
bleu or maybe even a swiss at the end for a riff on french onion soup / tart.
A sweet dip for dessert and dips with a little protein, like hummus,
add variety to ranch or
bleu cheese favorites.
