Once the pan is hot you can turn the heat to medium / low
add dollops of the batter to create the pancakes.
Once cooking fat shimmers, reduce heat to medium and use a large spoon to
add a dollop of batter to the pan, spreading it out gently to create a 3 - 4 inch pancake.
When warm,
add dollops of the batter and spread out into circles (I use the equivalent of a large serving spoon for this).

Only thing I had to do as suggested in the recipe was to
add a couple
of dollops of milk to the
batter as it is quite think.
(If mix is too dry,
add another ripe banana, if it's too moist
add more oats) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and make little
dollops of batter on the sheet.
Add a small
dollop of melted chocolate to the cheesecake and use a knife or tooth pick to drag the chocolate out in to the
batter and marble it.

dollop of caramel to the center
of each, about 1/2 t. cover the remaining space with more brownie
batter.
That's really a lot
of ginger in there but it was fine with me — I also
added a
dollop of ginger jam I happened to have on hand after putting part
of the
batter in the tins, which made them even better (I think).
