gnocchi (I didn't
add any -LSB-...]
Place a frying pan over a high heat and
add the cooked mushrooms to it along
with the cooked
gnocchi and the unsalted butter.
Add the butter and
gnocchi to a warm sauté pan, heat through and deglaze
with about a quarter cup of chicken stock.
Typically spinach
gnocchi is made
with just spinach, a touch of flour and ricotta cheese but we really like the texture the potato brings to the table so to speak, so instead of doing it the typically way (you know I like to break the rules) I
added a spinach puree mixture to the potatoes instead.
Add gnocchi and 1/4 cup of cooking water to pot
with sauce and bring to a hard boil, stirring gently.
The hands - down easiest dish that I (David) know (and make when I'm alone
with the kids and have max 10 minutes to prepare dinner) is to cook a package of fresh
gnocchi, mix a store - bought pesto
with mashed avocado,
add a little extra lemon and olive oil and just stir everything together
with some canned chickpeas and cherry tomatoes on top.
Drain
gnocchi and
add to pot
with sauce.
Add protein and color to chewy, starchy
gnocchi with chickpeas and bright, crisp broccoli raab.
Add the
gnocchi in a single layer and toss to coat
with the butter.
Drain and
add the
gnocchi to the sauce, along
with the parsley.
I think next time I will
add 1/2 of the broth called for and instead of the dumplings I will make
gnocchi to serve
with it.
Simply
add gnocchi to the sauce 5 minutes before it's done, and cook it together
with the sauce.
When they're all cooked, rinse out the pot
with the boiling water and
add the cooked
gnocchi back to it.
Add clams,
gnocchi, and lemon juice to sauce; season
with salt and pepper.
Add drained
gnocchi; mix to coat
with sauce 9.
Remove
gnocchi from the basket and
add them to the pan
with the sage - infused ghee / oil.
Heat a pan
with 1 tbsp of butter of coconut oil, crush the garlic and
add it in
with the
gnocchi, be careful the garlic doesn't burn.
Once the
gnocchi are done cooking,
add them to the skillet and toss
with the butter to coat.
