Homemade almond
milk does taste a little different, it reminds me a little of
plain yoghurt — I would suggest
adding a few dates or a tablespoon or so of pure maple syrup and a little cinnamon to your almond
milk to give it a sweeter flavour, which really makes it taste so delicious, I'm sure you and your husband would love it!
You could
add less cayenne pepper, more coconut
milk, or serve the stew with a spoonful of
plain coconut yoghurt.
I used buttermilk instead of regular
milk, used lemon yogurt instead of
plain,
added three over-ripe bananas and some flax seeds, and the muffins turned out fabulously!
Just
add a splash of unsweetened
plain almond

The brownie is made with frozen bananas, almond
milk, chocolate protein powder (again, if you have a

milk so I
added in two teaspoons of vanilla and also a teaspoon of cinnamon per another reader's suggestion.
I made these yesterday and they turned out beautiful.my tiny modifications: I have used
plain flour instead of buckwheat, a mixture of
milk and
plain yoghurt instead of buttermilk and
added 1/2 a banana more, I used the olive oil and not the butter.

add plain to it, because too sweet)... but soy
milk is way too thick and tastes too different to put on cereal... it also doesn't quench thirst for me like cow's
milk.

Choose almond

added nutrients, and choose bread that's full of nutrients instead of
plain white or wheat.
I typically buy the
plain kind (0 % or 2 %
milk fat) and
add my own sweetener and fruit.

So while it might just disappear in a bowl of

plain yogurt, and would be great on top of one of those fancy green smoothie bowls.
