Taste the frosting — if you want it sweeter, you're going to have to
add powdered sugar because any more maple syrup will make it too thin.

This looks amazing, but I think I'd
add some chocolate protein
powder to this to give it some really great health benefits,
because after looking up nutritional info this is mostly
sugar!
You can
add more
sugar but I don't suggest using less cocoa
powder because that would call for more flour, less liquid and more fat (in this case, tahini) which would change the recipe entirely and I can't guarantee results.
They're simple and wholesome with only 7 ingredients, no
added sugar, and no protein
powder (
because we get enough of that in our smoothies).
Because I am going to
add my own
sugar to this chocolate, I don't need sweetened cocoa
powder, so I make sure to use only unsweetened cocoa
powder.
I did make a few substitutions though,
because I lacked some ingredients: half & half for milk,
powdered swerve for
sugar and butter for coconut oil, and ended up having to
add another tablespoon of coconut flour, and they turned out perfectly fluffy and delicious.
Made two changes:
added 1/2 cup more banana (
because I needed to use them up), and used half raw
sugar and half
powdered sugar (that's what I had on hand).

powder just for fun, Decaf instant coffee, and Enjoy Life chocolate chunks.

Hi Jo, yes I quite like using vanilla
powder because it doesn't have any
sugar or alcohol
added as it's literally just ground up vanilla pods, and it's a cheaper alternative to whole vanilla beans.
The only thing I
added was 1/3 cup of
sugar — it was nowhere near sweet enough for us and our tastes (maybe
because I used a really great cacoa
powder?
I used honey
because I didn't have coconut
sugar and the cocoa
powder flavor was a bit strong for me so I
added a couple tablespoons of stevia and they turned out great!
(We love the guys at Bare Blends
because their protein
powders are natural,
sugar - free and don't have any
