You can certainly feed Honest Kitchen without adding any extras, but it's much more nutritious and cost effective to
add raw ingredients.

Paleo Ube Ice Cream Unlike store - bought ube ice cream, which is loaded with
added sugars and other processed
ingredients, this refreshing dessert is made with
raw honey, organic heavy whipping cream and coconut milk.
I made these with
raw cashews (
added a dash of salt), cold butter instead of coconut oil (I cut this into the dry
ingredients) and frozen blueberries (had to
add about 10 minutes to the baking time).
Since I didn't have all of the
ingredients I made a couple of changes — I used almond butter (Artisana
raw organic) instead of almond flour (same quantity), i used a full teaspoon of cinnamon and baking powder, I
added 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts.
Then I've
added frozen organic raspberries (from Target), some vanilla extract and a little stevia which both
add sweetness and flavor without sugar or artificial
ingredients,
raw cacao powder (or you could use cocoa powder), a handful of
raw almonds (or almond butter would work just fine), and that's it!
Just
add some
raw almond butter when blending your
ingredients.
** You can also start with
raw chicken and cook it in the pot before you
add the potatoes and other
ingredients.

I used roasted pumpkin for depth of flavour and a less wet mix, but for speed you could use fresh
raw chunks or puree from a can BUT in that case you will likely need to
add extra oatmeal (or a similar dry

2 Meanwhile, in a food processor just
add all the

Raw vegan pesto and blend it for 5 minutes until you get a smooth and even texture, if the pesto is to thick you can
add more olive oil to the mixture and if it is too thin you could
add more nuts, but usually this recipe works perfectly for me.
Looking at the low baking temp and the
ingredients, I'm thinking that if the pb was upped slightly (or
add some coconut oil), it would probably work pretty well as a
raw dehydrated goodie too.
For the other
ingredients you'll want to build your salad around what's in season, and being that its spring here I used a mixture of red leaf lettuce and a little arugula for spiciness, crispy radishes, fresh peas and fava beans, I
added in some
raw zucchini ribbons because I love the look and taste it gives to a salad, plus crunchy toasted hazelnuts.
