After years of recovering from exercise addiction and an eating disorder, I'll
add the honey only if my body feels really depleted from the day before.

I
only had about 1/3 c. so I
added an extra t. of
honey.
I had quinoa on hand so used that,
only had 2 bananas, so
added a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter and did half maple syrup and half
honey.
I
only used 3 cups of oats and
added lots extra peanut butter and
honey in hopes that it would do the trick.

added 1 more tablespoon of
honey (2 tbsp total), I left out the flaxseed (I didn't have any) and I used
only 1 1/2 cups of coconut flour and
added a 1/2 cup of tapioca flour.
No matter how much
honey you
add to that tea, it doesn't make it sweeter.However, the
only thing that will make it sweet is straight up 6 Tablespoons of sugar...
Pineapple juice is the
only liquid in this recipe and raw
honey provides a little
added sweetness.
The modifications I made are as follows: Agave syrup instead of
honey,
only 2 bananas & 1/2 an apple, and
added 1/3 C of walnuts & 1/4 C dark chocolate chips (in an attempt to get my daughter to eat them;).
If you
only have generic
honey you want to use up, then try
adding a few tablespoon of brown sugar for a stronger flavor.
I ran out of
honey so
only ended up with about half of what the recipe called for, but the raisins
add bursts of sweetness that make up for it.
Only thing that I changed was to
add coconut sugar instead of
honey.

added almond extract to coconut /
honey morning mixture, used
only 3/4 c. Chips and
added a beaten egg white which helped hold them together.

only have the unsweetened variation, you can try
adding some coconut sugar,
honey (not vegan), or maple syrup!

added a carrot to my grated zucchini mixture as I

only changes you should make to this recipe is to
add some almond milk to avoid a crumbly bar and use
honey instead of agave.
Cut the chicken breast in half, cover with cling film and using a rolling pin gently bash the chicken so that it is roughly the same thickness all over, heat a non stick frying pan,
add the coconut oil and when melted place your chicken in the pan, on a moderate high heat slightly sear the chicken then finish cooking on a medium heat, once the chicken is almost cooked
add the orange, lemon and lime juice and the
honey and bring to a rapid bubbling simmer until the sauce thickens to a glaze, this will
only take a minute or so, place the chicken in the lettuce wraps spooning over the glaze, return the pan to the heat and
add the coconut milk using a spatula scrap the coconut milk around the pan so that it picks up the left over cooking juices, take of the heat immediately, top your sticky sweet glazed chicken with the salsa and finish off with a drizzle of the coconut dressing.
* then,
add in the egg yolks,
honey (I
only used 3 tbs for the bread, but
added the sweet glaze after baking, and it was fine), lemon juice and zest, «milk» (I used almond milk) and coconut butter (I used Artisana coconut butter — not oil, but butter) and beat until smooth and fully mixed.
I substituted the oil for 1 cup of applesauce and I
added only 1/4 cup of
honey instead of the maple syrup.
I doubled all ingredients except
honey (
added a dash of maple syrup too), eggs (
only used 4), and pumpkin (used one 15 oz.
Servings: 4 Preparation Time: 5 minutes 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or any nut / seed butter) 1/4 cup coconut oil3 tablespoons cocoa powder (or cacao) 2 tablespoons

Add all ingredients to food processor and process until just combined.
Here is how I made adjustments: When
adding in the
honey, I decided I am running low on my precious local raw
honey, so I decided to
add only a small amount and then
added raw coconut sap in its place.
Only add the
honey / sweetener if you prefer the sauce less acidic, its completely optional.
I
only used 1 tablespoon of
honey in this chia jam but feel free to
add more if you would like it sweeter.
I love
adding a
honey lime glaze to my fruit salad to not
only add a little more sweetness, but to help it stay fresh longer.
Things I changed: - cut the sugar by about half, using mostly dark brown sugar for the molasses kick - scratched the nutmeg and allspice but
added about 1/3 extra of all of the other spices and also
added nearly a tsp of ground cardamon - replaced the veggie oil with melted leaf lard - scratched the raisins - baked it on a deep sheet for
only ~ 20 minutes - just barely until firm to the touch - then cut that sheet into three layers - replaced the icing with my own 16 ounce cream cheese, 8 ounce butter, ~ 6 ounce heavy cream, ~ 5 ounce
honey, 1 tsp vanilla combo - toasted the coconut before dressing the cake.
I
only listed 1 tbsp of
honey because I used flavoured yoghurt: if you decide to use plain yoghurt I'd recommend
adding some more sweetener.
Only modification was to use
honey in place of Agave and to
add a tbsp of vegetarian oyster sauce for some extra sweetness and flavor!!
With no sugar
added, the wild blueberries marinate with the cider which is then
only sweetened with locally sourced blueberry
honey and pure wild blueberry juice.
I
only use the vanilla bean paste, but you can
add in additional flavorings (vanilla extract,
honey, jam, etc).
My
only critique and that is simply a personal preference would be to
add a bit more
honey for sweetness.

honey cake today with the 1 teaspoon of baking powder
only (I actually neglected to
add the baking soda, oops) and it turned out incredible.
I like to keep my granola quite low in sugar, so I have
only used dried apricots which mixed with the cashew butter and coconut oil create the most delicious, sticky sweet paste!Feel free to
add a bit of maple syrup or
honey if you like it sweeter.
I sweeten
only with
honey, the apple sauce
adds sweetness without having a dominating apple taste, but even if you could tell the apple flavor, it is still in line with Rosh Hashanah isn't it?
I was worried about sweetness using
