Additional ingredients to
add to the batter after 3 ingredients have been blended or on top of the pancakes once ready (your preference): cinnamon, cacao or cocoa powder, chocolate chips, crushed nuts, seeds (hemp, pre-soaked chia, pumpkin, sunflower), blueberries, goji berries, apricots, figs, apples.
OR if you are using frozen blueberries,
add to batter after it has been divided among prepared pan.
My family loves blueberries, so
I added some to the batter after pouring it to the pan.
Not exact matches
I start off with the basic pancake recipe, and
add 1/2 c chopped walnuts and a little bit of cinnamon, then right
after I
add the 1/4 c of
batter for each pancake into the pan,
add some mini semisweet chocolate chips
to the top.
I was able
to get somewhat of a thinner
batter which still resembled mashed potatoes
after adding heavy cream, milk, vanilla and even water.
My almond flour was clumpy and I didn't know how
to fix it (first time baking with it), I don't have a mixer so I used a whisk, and I forgot the ground flax until
after it was in the pan and had
to take the
batter out and
add it.
I've occasionally skipped over steps in recipes, even ones I know well (once I forgot
to add the flour
to my cheesecake
batter until
after it had been in the oven for 10 minutes!)

batter.
Melt the 3 ounces of chocolate in the microwave (in 30 second intervals, mixing with a rubber spatula until it is melted), and then
after letting it cool for a few moments
add to the
batter mixing until incorporated.
Add a few splashes of regular milk
to thin it out (
batter will still be thicker than normal even
after adding extra milk).
After the dry ingredients are
added in the next step, you can
add up
to an additional 1/4 cup of milk in order
to get the
batter to the right consistency if it seems thick.
These are
added in small portions and mixed in
after each addition
to keep from deflating the trapped air in the creamed mixture and
to create a smooth
batter.
I didn't
add the goodies
to the
batter until
after it set up for about 8 - 10 minutes, and then the party began with baking these «ohmygoshgood» cookies!
After baking half of the
batter i
added some raw cacao powder
to make a chocolate / chai pancake.
You just need
to lightly mix the vinegar / baking soda mixture into the
batter for ~ 10 seconds Make sure not
to whip the
batter too much
after adding this, and don't let the
batter sit for too long.
It's important
to work quickly
after adding the baking soda / vinegar bubbly mixture into the
batter.

batter to fluffiness and scraping down the sides before each next addition.
Later
after making my homemade coconut milk, I
added 1/4 cup pulverized «pulp»
to the cake
batter and about 2TBS or 1/4 cup dried dark cherries, 1 min 25 secs — 1 1/2 mins right amount of time required for my microwave, loved this version!
That's really a lot of ginger in there but it was fine with me — I also
added a dollop of ginger jam I happened
to have on hand
after putting part of the
batter in the tins, which made them even better (I think).
Add 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
to the
batter in step 2,
after all ingredients are mixed together.
I
added roughly a cup of frozen blueberries folded in
after the
batter was finished mixing and sitting
to absorb moisture evenly, and of the 3/4 cup I filled it about 2 / 3s of the way with coconut four and about 1/3 almond flour.
After being disappointed in the consistency of several of Martha's cupcakes, my strategy from here on out is
to start with either a box cake mix or a basic
batter recipe from my culinary school books, and then just
add Martha's flavors / toppings
to them.

to a mix, very small dollops or circles of the
batter are placed onto a metal tray and slid into an oven.

batter into an ovenproof skillet (cast iron works best, both for the gasp - worthy presentation and final texture), pop it into the oven
