smoothies thick, but
please feel free
to add in any more water that you need
to get your favourite consistency!
I looked over the rest of the recipes, again, less than
pleased at all the
added sugars and refined ingredients and decided that I was going
to go home and make a healthier, lighter, tastier Blueberry
smoothie to be enjoyed for breakfast, a snack, OR dessert this Summer!
Any of the
smoothies can be used for the challenge and you are welcome
to add in greens or not as you
please but I would advise the oats (or other filling carbs)
to fill yourself up.
Please note that taste testings are
to support the inclusion of
smoothies on the school menu and will not be funded unless there is a sustainable program being
added to the school nutrition program.
You can use these little bites in place of granola if you
please, eat them like cereal (something I think would simply be a must - try), snack on them as they are, use them on top of
smoothies,
add them
to some yogurt like coconut yogurt, or layer with some nut butter or choice and maybe a banana
to make little mini sandwiches.
Please make sure there are no allergies before
adding any amount
to your
smoothies.
