If the series is successful (and there is no reason it shouldn't be) it isn't a huge stretch to imagine the feature being
added in a future patch.

I would be very interested if they somehow
added some cross-platform functionality How and what I don't know, and yes I know it's a VERY longshot, but with a free
patch to the Wii version of the game, plus this release, maybe they could public beta some cross-platform features before the big Smash Bros. release
in the
future.
The fact that Sean and the rest of HG have released 9
patches / updates and a press release announcement describing some new features that are going to be
in the
future just goes to show that they are still actively working on the game and fixing bugs and
adding new features.
The developers have confirmed that Sueprsampling won't be a part of this
patch so perhaps there is hope of a potential update
in the
future that can
add Supersampling to the game, which might help eliminate some of the jaggies / aliasing from the game.
They don't
add much time overall, but considering that time doesn't ever stop unless the game is paused or Aluche is
in the hotel (a
future patch should make this true for boss fights too), every second helps.
For now, they will only be available
in single player races, but a
future patch will
add support for online multiplayer replays too.

Russian subtitles have also been
added to the game through this
patch, and Ninja Theory says that they are «continuing to monitor reports of issues
in Hellblade and will be working on additional fixes for
future updates».
This would have solved some of my issues with the circle pad; perhaps there will be a
patch that
adds the option
in the
future.

in case you are looking to switch smartphones
in the near
future, and of course there are some changes to the system — which include being updated to the February 2018 security
patch.
Anyways, the Honor 8 is going to get security
patches and some new features
in future updates, and a new update is being rolled out for the device that
adds a couple of nice features
in the phone.
