I made this with carrots instead of squash and instead of
coconut milk used a bit of stock and half a block of creamed
coconut so it was more of a spicy carrot puree on the
sweet potato (and substituted the chick peas for green peas plus
added some spinach) and it was delicious.
I found I had to
add some more
coconut oil because otherwise the mixture was too dry, and I also had to
add some fruit syrup, as the dates I got were a bit dry and not
sweet enough.
In fact, I don't like these
sweet Coconut macaroons, but as you
add Passion fruits to your recipe and as it seemed very easy, I tried it.
Next, melt the
coconut oil with the maple syrup and cinnamon on the stove, once it has dissolved into a
sweet liquid
add it to the dry bowl and mix well.
I think
coconut milk would probably work fine, but you might want to
add little extra sweetener as I don't think it would be as
sweet as apple juice.
And to clean out my food processor I just
added a banana and some
coconut water mmm

Presented here as a very refreshing version of a sundae, with delicious and healthful
add - ins — desiccated
coconut, cacao nibs (which we sprinkle on everything
sweet in this house), and a drizzle of Lady Date pure date syrup, an amazing new discovery (thank you Laura for the tip).
The second time I soaked the dates in boiling water to soften them and then I just used a blender stick to blend the dates with
sweet potato and maple syrup (much easier than a processor) I also made a budget version and used regular cocoa powder, 1/2 honey 1/2 maple syrup, no pinenuts - just 1/2 cup of
coconut flour and 1/2 cornflour, I also
added chopped walnuts.
The stew is all made in one pot, so you sautee the puree, vinegar, garlic and spices in the pot, let it heat, and then
add the
coconut milk, tomatoes, aubergine and
sweet potato into the same pot.

I used murasaki
sweet potatoes, light
coconut milk, 5 (90 g total) medjool dates,
added a little lemon juice because I felt it needed a little tartness.
The savory sesame and
sweet ginger flavors are always a winning combination but then
add in chili paste for a pinch of heat and
coconut aminos for a mellow sweetness and you have one delicious marinade.
You could try
adding coconut sugar or maple syrup for the sweetness and then more

In terms of sweetness I'm sorry that it wasn't
sweet enough, I feel like they are
sweet enough because the bananas
add some sweetness and honey and stevia are supposed to be
sweeter than most sugars including
coconut sugar.

sweet comment For my pancakes I usually just use Bob's Red Mill 7 grain pancake and waffle mix and
add a mix of water, almond milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon until it's pancake batter consistency then cook them over medium / high heat with
coconut oil.
You could always
add maple syrup or
coconut sugar too, if you want it
sweeter.
You can
add a sweetener like maple syrup too, but I don't usually as I find
coconut milk is slightly
sweet by itself and also means I can use the yoghurt in savoury dishes too.
I always try new things with popcorn including
