These are a few of my favorite pieces that
I added to my closet over the holidays.
As fall weather calls for new clothes, I thought I would share a few items I've
added to my closet over the past few weeks.
Not exact matches
I put it in the back of my
closet and waited several months until the maxi became more common
to see while walking down the street and then I pulled it out again and happily worn it all
over the city,
adding several more
to my collection in the 2 years I lived in Boston.
I NEVER wear leopard print, but I've been wanting
to mix it up / amp it up a bit more, and so I picked up a leopard print fold -
over clutch
to add to my
closet.
Over the course of the collaboration, I'll be given the opportunity
to add a few items
to my
closet and, while I feel like I should pick something classic (like a good leather satchel or a pair of black Ferragamo Varina flats), I really want
to branch out and pick a few unexpected statement pieces like the «Jessica» canteen crossbody from Tory Burch.
It's never too cold or too warm
to add some denim in your everyday life,
over the years the «denim» or «jeans» trend gained a great amount of loyal followers, taking it's special place
to almost every wordrobe and eventually was labeled as a «
closet essential».
Each year I pull out items I've had stashed away in my
closet (I call it my JoJo
closet... as in Fixer Upper style)
over half the year but I also typically
add a few pieces
to the mix
to really get my decor game going.
And while I have you all still, I wanted
to mention, I've finally launched my Poshmark
closet and will be
adding lots of items
over the coming weeks!
This gorgeous Two - Toned Top from Covered Perfectly is one of those pieces you
add to your
closet and end up reaching for
over and
over!
You start finding value in things like bread - makers and juicers,
over a new item
to add to the
closet.
Choose a romantic dress from your
closet and
add a touch more dreaminess
to the look by layering a sheer maxi skirt
over it.
This dress is another one I'd love
to add to my
closet, probably in black
over this dark green.
Quickly recovering, she flipped onto her feet and bumped face first into the wall before staggering awkwardly side
to side into the Fabulouso
Closet and scant seconds later emerged in her fashion crime fighting costume, consisting of a former 1980s purple spandex gym outfit
over a gold Banana Republic turtleneck with gold boots, gloves,»60s horn rimmed glasses / mask, cape (that strangely fluttered in the still Fab Cave air), utility belt... and an
added Fab neck brace.
I have been
adding a little floral
to my
closet over the spring and summer.
This usually results in some online shopping, browsing different stores,
adding jewelry
to my cart, thinking about the pieces, walking away
to make dinner, taking the dog for a walk... forgetting the jewelry is in my cart until I return
to my
closet the following day and start the cycle all
over again.
It became a yearly tradition in our household and I would review the catalog
over and
over again anticipating what I would love
to add to my
closet.
I have a black one that I love
to throw on
over jeans and sneakers for an insta - chic effect (worn here) but I'm looking
to add softer shapes and colors
to my
closet, like this drapey olive colored one.
Over the years I've
added a lot of different versions
to my
closet, but I had never picked up a Rails one.

I
added some salvaged doors
to the bathroom and
closet door openings (even though Kourtney mentioned she wanted a sliding barn style door
over the bathroom), because I felt like two coordinating (not necessarily matching) old doors would look / function better on that wall at the foot of the bed.
