Being able to play it on the go and leave the console in sleep mode whenever you need to take a break makes this already -
addicting game even more irresistible.

The Score Attack mode which has you playing through campaign levels again for high scores is also strangely
addicting, the 3DS version also supports Gyroscope controls which work well, but I personally preferred to play without them, along with new gorgeous updated graphics that look
even better in 3D (seriously this
game is made better in every way with 3D effect turned on).
You were incessantly trolling on that
game since it was announced, sharing your biased opinion with toxic Xbox fanboys that those excited for it were a «circle jerk», trying to pass it off as a TLoU clone etc, etc. only to be proven utterly wrong and yet weeks after its release I'm still playing the
game because its world and combat is so good and
addicting, and I'm far, far from the only one (
even if I was done with the
game in a week, there are much better multiplayer
games worthy of my time than Conan).
Getting from one objective to the next with barely enough time is
addicting (
even if each objective is basically the same), and the fleshed - out missions are much more fulfilling to complete than the scant Master System and
Game Gear versions.
It shares the same tactical «feel» of past entries and adds new ones to keep the
game fresh and exciting, the base development system is intriguing
even for hours on end, the story will piece what has been left unanswered in past
games (albeit presented in a less compelling manner) and upgrading Snake with a myriad of weapons will always be
addicting.
Even though I wish the
game I'm playing now was the one I got when it launched, I'm glad to see Bungie listened to the complaints and turned a barebones
game into an
addicting experience.
This sense of ever building success is what makes the
game so fun, and so
addicting,
even when you lose.
Splatoon is the first original idea from Nintendo in a long time, and although it's a pretty fun,
addicting game for anyone that's played it, there's no way to get around the glaring issues and blatant missing content that any shooter (yes,
even one on the Wii U) should have.
