Somewhat quietly (I never got an email) Chase has

transfer partners and now, with immediate effect, it has
added the Avianca LifeMiles program too.

added Avianca Life Miles as it's latest
airline transfer partner.
In addition, the Etihad's separate partnerships with a dozen other
airlines, including American, Air New Zealand, and Asiana among others,
add even more value to the program, and since Etihad is a
transfer airline partner of the Citi ThankYou and SPG programs, you can easily collect Etihad mles in the U.S. with credit card spending.
Citi has
added Turkish
Airlines to its roster of
transfer partners.
Or you can
transfer your Ultimate Rewards to any of Chase's popular
airline partners, turning those points into branded frequent flyer miles and
adding to your vacation - ready hoard.
Its
airline transfer partners are mostly foreign carriers with pretty weak award charts, but it recently
added JetBlue.

Until Citi
adds American
Airlines as a ThankYou
transfer partner, Citi ThankYou will always be the least valuable of the major transferrable points currencies.
While these cards all allow you to redeem your travel points through the issuer for free travel, some may offer you the ability to improve your per - point value by
transferring your points to an eligible
airline or hotel
partner,
adding to your current stash of frequent flyer miles or hotel points.
To start, the Barclays Arrival Premier will have nine
airline transfer partners, though they say that they'll be
adding more soon.
Citi has been continually
adding transfer partners with Turkish
Airlines & Jet Airways being
added recently.
Chase Ultimate Rewards has
added a new
transfer partners: Singapore
Airlines KrisFlyer.
If Citi can
add American
Airlines as a
transfer partner (extremely unlikely) then I think you'll see both of these cards talked about more often.
The previously lackluster Citi ThankYou Rewards recently
added 9 new
airline transfer partners to go with its existing hotel
partner, Hilton.
