extra that enables you to go through an area of the map and see something that you can't quite access yet... unlocking the skill required to clear an
obstacle or some such, return to the prior area and explore further.
That being said, I think the implementation of
extra obstacles such as turrets, moving walls, and gravity wells seems to
add some welcome variety.
