adding them to the smoothie because I have to admit, all those smoothies with little bits of greens and other veggies are a little unappetizing to me.

Hey Erica no of course that's a legitimate question — I don't put grapes in
smoothies as much as other fruits simply
because they're not as nutritionally dense and I just tend
to mostly cook with the fruits which I love the taste of — but that the great thing about the recipes, and especially
smoothies, you can use it as a guide
to add things you have in the fridge or whatever so I'm so glad you're
adding different things!
I've been
adding some variety

because lezbehonest, you have
to keep it interesting!
I also
added chia seeds
to this
smoothie,
because they have omega - 3 fats and protein.
Note: depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have, you might not need
to add the honey into the
smoothie bowl,
because the Nutella and raspberries
add plenty of sweetness.
The color may depend on the kind of cherries you use — I always buy frozen dark sweet cherries at Whole Foods (even though they're called sweet cherries, there's no sugar
added)

The original recipe for these is actually a chocolate sprinkle crinkle cookie (Joy made them and they look perfect) but I didn't have any cute sprinkles that worked with coating a whole cookie buuut I did have a bag of these coconut chips that I love
adding to smoothies and coating cakes
because I think they're just insanely beautiful.

because you're

If I were
to add a protein source
to this one, I'd probably go with a tablespoon or two of hemp seeds, just
because their mild flavour / texture won't take away from the freshness of the
smoothie.
Taste the
smoothie and if it tastes a little flat (usually
because your frozen mango is slightly underripe when frozen)
add lemon juice and blend
to combine.
I don't like
adding sweetener or juice

because I find the fruit sweet enough.

to add to smoothies (although there are conflicting opinions on how much value you get from this method
because of the way the body has
to break down and rebuild the protein).
I love bananas and avocados in
smoothies too
because they
add so much creaminess

to do more research, but years ago my reproductive endocrinologist told me
to take Flaxseed oil though she said lignin free, which I don't
because I grind the whole flaxseed and
add to my
smoothie.
If I don't use any frozen produce, I usually
add a few ice cubes

Spinach is a great green
