The one downside is that they provide
more resistance towards the top of the motion (when fully stretched) and almost no resistance towards the bottom of the motion (when relaxed), but this limitation can be overcome by using different
colored bands (for
more resistance),
adding a loop to your band
during the exercise, or
adding more bands (if you have handles that support it).
During the past few months of my pregnancy, I've found it to be
more flattering to wear solid
colors and body skimming dresses that are stretchy and elongate my figure without
adding any excess volume.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with wearing black
during the spring and summer, but as you've mentioned, I think it's great when you
add in some
color or substitute it in your entire outfit, you really do feel lighter and
more refreshed.
There are so many shades I love and
during the summer I tend to lean towards the pinks but with fall here I have steered into
more lighter tones such as this Tom Ford Blush in shade Flush and recently went back to Nars in shade Orgasm; it's the perfect shade for all skin tones, it
adds just enough
color and sparkle without being overwhelming.
They're great
during the winter to
add a pop of
color to my all - black - and - gray wardrobe and when it's warmer out they pair perfectly with
more colorful outfits.
